Happy Thanksgiving!!
I'm ashamed to see that it's been over a month since I last posted. Life gets so busy sometimes! We've really enjoyed the last few weeks leading up to Turkey Day. My parents visited from NC and have helped us with some repairs around the house. Jason and Dad ran the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day (Mom, Parker and I cheered them on). We proceeded to cook more food than 5 people would ever need for one meal. After dinner, Parker got his first turkey leg! Note his special Thanksgiving day hat that he made at "school!" He never ceases to amaze us with his expresions and personality. Could he be any cuter?!

My little pumpkin poo (that's for you Dad!)!
J, Parker and I made our first family outing to the pumpkin patch! Sorry Cooper, it was too much to take you think year but I promise you'll come next year!
We had a good time posing for pictures and watching the trees blowing in the breeze (you'll see in the pictures, Parker's eyes seem to be looking up and away)! We picked out some nice pumpkins to bring home. I just love this time of year!
The latest....
Well, since I last blogged so much has happened. I flew home for a few days with Parker. I thought the trip would be more painful than it was. He was such an angel during travel. And I must say, I met some really nice and helpful people on my journey. My girl Sarah drove from C'ville with Clare and picked us up from the airport so we could visit with Brooke and her growing belly. It was SO good to be with my girls again. Thanks for making it work ladies!
Seeing my brother, his family and of course my parents was awesome! It was just so heartwarming to watch everyone interacting with my baby boy. Brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. While we were home, Parker rolled over for the first time. Unfortunately, he doesn't know what to do when he gets rolls to him tummy....we're working on that one though.
Just this week, we were visited by some very special guests from Georgia! So sad, but how did they come and go without me getting a picture?! It was so great catching up and meeting Jonathan - thanks for stopping by Krista and Jason!

On the move!
I'm still testing out my skills at blogging...it's a slow progress. I don't have much time these days! However, I was playing with my phone and took a video of Parker. He's always got his chunky legs in the air. This morning I turned around and saw he was on his side! I think it's only a matter of time until he actually rolls over! It should be easy for him since his nickname at school is "Roley Poley!" Click on the picture below to check him out:

I know it's been a while!
Things have been a bit hectic since my last post. I have officially gone back to work full time. Parker just finished his second full week of "school" (I have a hard time referring to it as daycare) and seems to be doing well. He's the only boy in the class...they've have all girls for over 8 months now. Needless to say, he's getting a lot of attention - and that's music to my ears. I'll have to share his first day of school pics on a separate post. I'm still trying to get the hang of this blogging thing - so be patient.

Parker's 2-month Appointment!
On Friday we took a trip to the pediatrician for Parker's 2-month appointment. He's growing so fast - it's hard to believe he is the same tiny thing we brought home from the hospital now just 10 weeks ago! He is 27th percentile for height, 32nd percentile for head circumference, and a whopping 80th percentile for weight! Let's just say that my chunky monkey doesn't miss a meal! He's thriving for sure :o) He also got some more vaccines while we were there. I was so proud after the nurse gave him his first shot in the thigh...I thought he wasn't going to even cry. But, alas...after a small delay, he let out the biggest, longest cry! Jason and I were just waiting for him to take a breath. You can see in the pictures how unhappy he was. Poor thing...just think if he didn't have any meat on those bones?!

Just testing....
Okay, so I'm attempting to post more than one picture so you can see my mini photo session that I had with my boys the other day. Cooper, my furry son, isn't allowed upstairs, nevermind on our bed! But he took it in stride (of course)! Surprisingly, he didn't love it enough to stay on the bed...I happen to think it's quite comfortable. I'm still learning how to use my "push present" aka, our new camera. Cooper just happened to be easier to "direct" than my little Parker. You be the judge :o)

And so it begins...
So today we officially entered the world of blogging. Can't say we know what we're doing but this is my attempt to keep family and friends up to date with our now crazy lives. Our baby boy is now 7 weeks and two days old....it's hard to believe he's here, nevermind almost two months old! Our lives have changed dramatically in the past two months but we're surviving! We are learning new things about ourselves, our relationship with each other, and of course about parenting! How on earth could you resist this face!?
